What to Expect Incentives: If you're planning on attending a UC PIQ workshop, Financial aid, or CCGI please note, Students who bring their own school laptop or personal device will receive free swag! Workshops: Start Planning which workshops you want to attend. Schedule available now. This includes targeted sessions on navigating the University of California’s Personal Insight Questions (PIQs), alongside dedicated FAFSA/CADAA completion workshops. Student and Parent Panels: bilingual parent workshops will be offered in both English and Spanish, featuring panels with current college students and parents to demystify the university experience. 5 Different Campus Experience Tours: Choose from a variety of campus experiences, ranging from STEM (Nano Lab Facilities), Visual Arts, General Campus, Alternative Campus Tour, or a UCSD Recreation Tour. Resource Fair: Connect with UC's, CSU's, Private Schools, and Community Colleges, Our Resource Fair will include information and representatives from different college systems, including Vocational Trades, California Community Colleges, California State University (CSU), University of California Campus Representatives (UC), UCSD Admissions, Private Schools, UC San Diego programs, and community organizations.

Who: 9-12th grade students and their families
What: Attendees will have access to a comprehensive lineup of interactive workshops covering college admissions, financial aid, scholarships, internships, academic planning, writing University of California’s Personal Insight Questions (PIQs), and FAFSA/CADAA completion workshops so that students to see themselves in higher education.

Increase participant knowledge of support programs aimed at retaining students at UC San Diego and promoting advanced degrees.

Enhance the relationship between UC San Diego and the community by involving members of the community in the planning, implementation and evaluation processes of the event.
