About Us
The Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) is the University of California's largest academic preparation program. At UC San Diego, the EAOP has been working to help under resourced K - 12 schools since 1976.
Our Mission Statement
EAOP's mission is to assist under resourced K - 12 schools by helping their students prepare for postsecondary education, pursue graduate and professional school opportunities, and achieve success in the workplace.
To achieve this goal EAOP works with K-12 students, their parents, school representatives and community members to design, implement and evaluate programs and services that foster students’ academic development to make them admissible to the post-secondary institution of their choice (UC, CSU, and CCC).
