Online Tutoring
The Early Academic Outreach Program provides free online tutoring for students who need afterschool assistance.
UCSD students are available to provide one-on-one tutoring to students in any subject from K-12 as well as mentor and guide them through the college admissions process.
Tutors can also assist in preparing for college admission exams, AP exams, and forming study skills effective in any academic setting.
Access
In order to access the online tutoring system, your computer must have the following:
- Flash
- Email (to be used only during registration)
- One of the following web browsers: Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.
- Tutors and students have the option of video chatting (if both have the necessary equipment) to assist in the tutoring process, but it is not required.
To access online tutoring, follow these instructions:
- New students register at: www.seatechies.com/oats/new_
registration (if you already have a username and password, see step 4) - Fill out all the required fields, including your email address
- Access your email to retrieve your username and password
- Log on at: http://oats.ucsd.edu
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday: 2:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am - 2:00pm
