Download the ParkMobile app and enter Zone 4752 for the 15-minute parking option ("UCSD – Valid in V=Visitor Spaces" on Level 2). You will be prompted to enter your license plate number and select the appropriate parking duration. - Pay Station Kiosk
Parking may also be purchased at the pay stations located near the elevators and stairwells throughout the parking structure.
Important Reminder
Parking regulations are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A valid digital or physical parking permit is required at all times.
Walking Directions to Check-In
After parking, take the elevator down to Level 1. Follow the balloons and event signage, which will guide you to the check-in area located on the grassy lawn in front of 64 Degrees Dining Hall.
Alternative Transportation: UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley

Families may also travel to campus using the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley.

Directions to Check-In:
After exiting the trolley, follow signs (or set your map app to 64 Degrees) toward Sixth College and 64 Degrees Dining Hall. The station is located within the Pepper Canyon Living & Learning Neighborhood near the Epstein Family Amphitheater. The walk to the check-in location is approximately 8–12 minutes.
Please look for EAOP signs, balloons, and staff members who will be available to guide families to the check-in area once arriving at Revelle College.

Students must attend all scheduled activities and follow directions from EAOP staff and Residential Advisors.
Please review the Community Guidelines with your student prior to the program. Failure to comply with program expectations, university policies, or community guidelines may result in disciplinary action, including a parent/guardian being contacted and required to pick up their student from the program early.
EAOP Summer Residential Program - Community Guidelines 2026
To make this a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for all participants, we ask that you read and abide by the following expectations:
- Attend all scheduled classes, workshops, meetings, and program activities.
- Arrive on time and be prepared for all activities.
- Follow directions provided by EAOP staff, Residential Advisors, and university personnel.
- Treat fellow participants, staff, and university property with respect.
- Remain in your assigned residence hall areas and follow all university housing policies.
- Do not enter residence hall buildings, floors, or rooms assigned to another gender.
- Do not enter rooms assigned to other participants.
- Keep your room key and meal card secure at all times. Students may be charged replacement fees for lost or damaged items.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Refrain from disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior.
- Unruly or criminal behavior—including fighting, pranks, theft, vandalism, or damage to university property—is grounds for immediate dismissal from the program. Students and their parent(s)/guardian(s) may be held financially responsible for any damages resulting from their actions.
- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, illegal drugs, and unauthorized substances are strictly prohibited.
- Weapons of any kind are prohibited.
- Sexual behavior, sexual activity, or inappropriate displays of affection are prohibited during the program.
- Guests and visitors are not permitted in residence halls.
- Stay with your assigned group at all times and communicate your whereabouts to EAOP staff. Students must receive permission from staff before leaving any program activity, field trip, residence hall area, dining facility, or designated location.
- Students must be in their assigned suite no later than 10 minutes before lights-out.
- Lights-out is at 10:00 PM each evening. Students are expected to remain in their assigned rooms after this time unless otherwise directed by staff.
- Respect quiet hours and all residence hall expectations.
- Report any illness, injury, safety concern, or emergency to staff immediately.
- UC San Diego EAOP staff are mandated reporters. If a student discloses that they are being harmed, are considering harming themselves, or are considering harming another person, staff are required to report this information to the appropriate authorities and university personnel.
- Failure to comply with these community guidelines may result in disciplinary action, parent/guardian notification, and/or removal from the program.
We highly value and strive to maintain a safe environment that is conducive to student well-being & learning. Violations of any of the above expectations may result in dismissal from the UC San Diego EAOP Summer Residential Program and may require immediate parent/guardian pick-up.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Can students do laundry?
- No. Laundry facilities will not be available during the program. Students should bring enough clothing for the full duration of the program (4 days and 3 nights). We also recommend that students pack comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes, as there will be opportunities to participate in recreational and fitness activities throughout the program.
- Who supervises students?
- Students are supervised by trained UC San Diego EAOP staff, Residential Advisors (RAs), and administrative personnel. Our team consists of experienced professionals from a variety of fields, including education, college access, student affairs, counseling, and youth development. Staff members are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and enriching residential experience for all participants.
- What is provided in the dorms? This service includes a linen bundle upon arrival:
- (1) set of bed linens, (1) blanket, (1) pillow, (1) set of towels, (1) cup , (1) bar of soap
- What items will students receive upon arrival?
- Upon check-in, students will receive a meal card and a residence hall room key. Students are responsible for keeping these items secure throughout the program. Lost meal cards or room keys may result in replacement charges assessed by the university.
- Can I contact my student?
- Yes. Students may communicate with family during free time and evening hours.
- Are meals provided?
- Yes. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks are provided.
- Where will students stay?
- Students will stay in UC San Diego residence halls.
- What if my student takes medication?
- Medication must be checked in with EAOP staff and remain in original labeled containers.
- What time is check-in?
- Sunday, June 28 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
- What time is pick-up?
- Wednesday, July 1 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
- Do I need an ID at pick-up?
- Yes. A valid photo ID is required.
- Can my student leave using public transportation?
- Only if a parent/guardian has completed the Public Transportation Authorization section.
- What are the cultural and STEM components of the program?
- The UC San Diego EAOP Summer Residential Program intentionally incorporates both cultural and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning experiences throughout the four-day program.
- Cultural Learning Experiences
Students will participate in activities, discussions, and field trips that celebrate diverse cultures, histories, and communities. These experiences are designed to help students develop a stronger sense of identity, appreciate different perspectives, and recognize the value of their own backgrounds and lived experiences. Examples include visits to cultural landmarks such as Chicano Park and activities that explore traditions through art, food, and community engagement. - STEM Learning Experiences
Students will engage in hands-on STEM activities and educational field trips that expose them to science, technology, engineering, and innovation. STEM learning opportunities may include visits to locations such as Birch Aquarium (marine biology/environmental science) and the USS Midway Museum (engineering, cybersecurity, etc.), as well as interactive workshops and activities on campus.
